What we plan to build next for SunLicense Cloud, in the order we plan to build it. Plans can change as we hear from you. When something ships, it moves to What's new.

Being built now, in this order.
1 · Easier feedback
Tell us about a bug or an idea in seconds: write in one box, paste a screenshot with Ctrl/Cmd+V, and send. A help button in the corner of the dashboard and docs also gets you to docs search, system status and our Discord.
We track renewals in a spreadsheet, so a CSV of active licenses would save us…
2 · Guided setup
New organizations get a short setup, one question per screen, then a checklist that ticks itself off as you go. You can also add your logo and set your timezone and email preferences.
3 · Blacklists and exclusions
Block IP addresses, machines, countries or customers, so licenses stop working there. Exclude your own IP or machine so you can test freely without using up a machine slot. Blocked checks get a clear BLACKLISTED result in your app.
4 · Import from SunLicense V1
Coming from SunLicense V1? We bring over your products, licenses, customers and blacklists with the same license keys, so the plugins you've already shipped keep working without an update.
5 · Minecraft plugin template
A ready-to-use Paper plugin with license checks already built in. Copy it, put in your own code, and build. It includes friendly messages for players and works offline too.

6 · Works with your AI coding assistant
Let Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another AI coding assistant add SunLicense to your project and manage licenses for you. It reads our docs and works through the sunlicense CLI, using an access token you can limit and revoke at any time.

7 · Version numbers and What's new
Every update gets a version number. A dot on What's new in the dashboard tells you something changed, and the full list lives in the changelog. Quote the version when you report a bug.

8 · Customer portal
Your customers sign in with a link sent to their email and look after their own licenses: see their keys, reset a machine, download an offline license, or claim a store purchase. You decide what they're allowed to do.
9 · Emails to your customers
Change the emails your customers get from you, such as "your license key", "expiring soon" and "machine reset", in a visual editor. Preview and send yourself a test. Replies go to your support address.

10 · Your brand everywhere
Put your logo, colour and support links on everything your customers see: the portal, emails, the redeem page and Discord license cards. You can also hide "Powered by SunLicense".
11 · Protect your plugin's code
Upload your plugin's jar and download a protected copy whose code is much harder to read, copy or crack. Our SunGuard obfuscator runs it on our servers, so there's nothing to install.

12 · More templates

13 · AI assistant in the dashboard
Ask setup questions right in the dashboard and get answers from our docs. It can also do things for you, like issuing a license, but only after you click Confirm.
14 · Connect claude.ai and ChatGPT
Use SunLicense from AI apps in your browser, like claude.ai and ChatGPT. Nothing to install: sign in once and choose what the app may do.
15 · Import from other platforms
Moving from another license platform? Upload its export and we bring your licenses and customers over. We'll start with the platforms people move from most.
16 · Your own portal domain
Run your customer portal on your own address, like licenses.acme.com. Add one DNS record and we take care of HTTPS.
