Open beta

SunLicense Cloud is open to everyone, starting with SunLicense V1 customers. Sign up at app.sunlicense.com; we approve new organizations by hand and email you when you're in. The beta terms explain what the beta means for you.

What's in the beta

  • Licenses that check themselves: products, policies (perpetual, subscription, trial), machine limits, revocation within seconds, and offline licenses signed with your own key, so your app keeps working even when it can't reach us.
  • Official SDKs for Java, JavaScript, Python, .NET, PHP, Lua and Rust, and a REST API. See SDKs.
  • Twelve store integrations that issue a license per purchase and revoke it on a refund: BuiltByBit, Voxel Shop, SpigotMC, Tebex, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Payhip, Ko-fi, itch.io, Stripe, WooCommerce and Envato. See Integrations.
  • Customers: every license belongs to a customer you can search, block or merge.
  • Discord bot: staff commands, buyer roles that follow the license, self-service claims and key drops. See Discord.
  • The sunlicense CLI: a terminal app and scriptable commands. See CLI.
  • Team and roles: invite your team by email, with built-in and custom roles. See Team and roles.
  • Plans and billing: Free, Lite and Standard, paid through Paddle. Beta organizations may get a beta offer when they're approved. See Plans and billing.
  • Encrypted backups of every database, kept off our server.

Coming in the first weeks

  • Onboarding: a short setup guide the first time you sign in.
  • Import from SunLicense V1, with your existing license keys kept, so your customers don't need new ones.
  • Blacklists and exclusions: block IPs, machines, countries or customers, and exclude your own test machines.
  • Versioned releases on this page and a "What's new" entry in the dashboard.
