Payhip ​

Setup ​

  1. SunLicense: Integrations → Payhip → Connect. Map product IDs or product keys (the RGsF in payhip.com/b/RGsF) to policies, or *, and paste your Payhip API key (Settings → Developer).
  2. Payhip Settings → Developer → Webhooks: add the hook URL and tick paid and refunded.
  3. For buyers to get the key: if the product has Payhip's software license keys on, buyers already have it and SunLicense uses the same key. Otherwise link the integration's redeem page; buyers enter their order ID and email.

Behaviour ​

  • paid: one license per item of the order.
  • refunded: revokes the order's licenses.
  • Subscription events are logged and ignored.

About Payhip's signature

Payhip signs webhooks with signature = sha256(API key). That value is the same on every request, so it proves the sender knows your API key but not that the body is untouched. The unguessable hook URL is the other half of the check.
